“William has worked at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church as a pianist and choir director. Under Bill’s leadership and guidance, he started a youth/young adult choir that he continues to build. Bill is always ready to give a hand, whether it is for Faith Formation or the youth group or a special function at the parish. He is professional and works well with youth and adults, males and females, and with the different ethnic communities in our parish. I feel William Freeman would be a valuable addition to any organization he applies to. I would be free to discuss William’s credentials and what he has done in further details. Please feel free to contact me.”
Rev. Steven Hoffer, Pastor at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (Las Vegas, Nevada)
I had the privilege of singing under the direction of William Freeman for the Episcopal Ordination of Bishop Gregory Gordon, Auxiliary Bishop of Las Vegas. Despite the pressure of having to prepare large amounts of music in a very short amount of time, his professionalism and expert musical capabilities were perfectly suited to the task at hand. Prior to my experience of working under William for the ordination, I had also previously observed that William’s work as Music Director of St. Anthony of Padua (as well as Guardian Angel Cathedral), has been very successful at bringing the congregational repertoire into line with the norms of Vatican II. It is clear that his musicianship and music administration abilities are top notch. We are blessed to have his caliber of talent working in service to the Diocese of Las Vegas.
Andrea Leal, Choirmaster at Schola Cantorum Dei Gloriam and Contributor to Corpus Christi Watershed
“William is passionate about music and is willing to teach anyone from varying levels of skill. He challenges the choir in order to improve our skills individually and as a group.”
Anthony Bongolan, Former Chorister at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (Las Vegas, Nevada)
“William is a talented and intelligent young man. He has a large array of skills, making him quite versatile. William is a very competent musician, who is equally comfortable singing, conducting, as well as playing the piano or organ. In addition, he is a great collaborator.”
Joel S. Kumro, Choirmaster and Organist at Saint Benedict Roman Catholic Church (Richmond, Virginia)
“William Paul Freeman is very conscientious in his work as a church musician/organist. He is constantly working at improving his skills in organ playing and choral directing.”
